Summary
To ask the Minister for Health if she will commit investment to tackle the under resourcing of the neurology service in the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar. The current outreach service is inadequate to offer a safe adequate neurology service for patients in line with the National Model of Care for Neurology Services in Ireland, published a decade ago, which stipulates that all Model 3 hospitals should have a dedicated neurology service.
