To ask the Minister for Health the age of all 22 linear accelerators for radiotherapy across public facilities in Ireland; the expected lifetime of each machine;the specific dates by which time new linear accelerators operating past their expected lifetime will be replaced and operational; the projected age of each machine when these replacement dates will be reached; when hiring and training of staff to operate any new machines will begin; and for details of all plans in place to manage the increasing rate machine downtime until such time as older machines have been replaced.
