To ask the Minister for Children; Disability and Equality the reason the process currently exists whereby adults with an intellectual disability who wish to seek full time residential care or placement are required to submit a housing application to a local authority when the local authority does not provide full-time residential care for such adults; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
