Summary

To ask the Minister for Health if there is a designated pathway in place to access delayed breast reconstruction surgery after a mastectomy in a timely manner within the public system (I have heard from those who are struggling to access certain types of reconstruction surgery which requires a separate surgery (or surgeries) in a timely manner. Particularly when several surgeries are required, there can be significant wait times. As you can imagine, the uncertainty created by cancelled surgeries is causing frustration and distress for those affected.); and if she will make a statement on the matter.
