To ask the Minister for Health the measures currently in place for those seeking delayed reconstruction surgery in a timely manner after a mastectomy (I have heard from those who are struggling to access certain types of reconstruction surgery which requires a separate surgery (or surgeries) in a timely manner. Particularly when several surgeries are required, there can be significant wait times. As you can imagine, the uncertainty created by cancelled surgeries is causing frustration and distress for those affected.);; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
