To ask the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 767 of 30 June 2026, the amount spent on outsourcing arrangements in University Hospital Galway to address the laboratory sample backlog in 2024, 2025 and to date in 2026; if these costs can be broken down by the spend on addressing the public samples backlog and private samples backlog under their service level agreements with private facilities, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. -Pádraig Rice
