Summary

To ask the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 884 of 24 March 2026, to clarify which body is responsible for preparing and assembling case materials for the external expert panel (details supplied); if this function sits with Children’s Health Ireland, the HSE or another body; and if she will make a statement on the matter. (The HSE’s response to my previous PQ: “All records for the External Expert Panel (EEP) are hosted on a case management system (REDCap). There is a two stage Quality Assurance process in place to ensure all required information is included in each child’s record before the case is shared with the EEP for review. This includes a copy of the child’s clinical notes and relevant radiological images and measurements.”)
