To ask the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 885 of 24 March 2026, if the remit of the external expert panel can be expanded should systemic issues become evident during the course of their work (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. (According to the HSE, the scope of the EPP “is to to determine, in so far as possible, the appropriateness of the original clinical decision-making for pelvic osteotomy surgery for developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) carried out during the Review Period (1 January 2010 – 31 March 2025), based on relevant radiological indices and clinical history.”)
