To ask the Minister for Health if there are any plans to provide a public radiotherapy centre in the Mid West region; if all radiotherapy for patients in the Mid West is contracted out to private providers; if the HSE plans to outsource to a new private centre in Limerick ( I understand that that there will be a new UPMC private radiotherapy centre in Limerick, resulting in two private centres in this area and no public centre in the region.); and if she will make a statement on the matter.
