Summary

To ask the Minister for Health if she will address the current care pathway for women and their partners experiencing pregnancy loss ( If she will consider establishing a dedicated, separate care pathway and assessment area for pregnancy loss, including the provision of off-site services at appropriate facilities in Ennis and Nenagh for patients with a confirmed miscarriage; and the measures she will take to ensure compassionate, trauma-informed care for those experiencing miscarriage so that they are not required to share waiting areas, assessment spaces or clinical environments with pregnant women, given the significant psychological distress this can cause.) in the Midwest, specifically in Limerick Maternity Hospital, where those miscarrying are assessed and treated in the same unit as women receiving antenatal care.
