To ask the Minister for Health to address an issue regarding emergency calls for an ambulance (Minister as the NAS has reduced the number of ambulances and staff and we have no hub in Kerry for the private ambulances the nearest being Limerick and Cork City. This is worrying especially for people who are expected to wait for the Ambulance Service. There are times when a person cannot be taken to A& E by family members and do rely on an Ambulance. It is unfair on the people waiting and unfair on our paramedics and first responders who are doing their best); and if she will make a statement on the matter.
