To ask the Minister for Health if a new maternity unit will be expedited at University Hospital Kerry given the clinical risks to both mother and baby due to the location of the existing unit due to the distance from the theatre; the progress that has been made in respect of this matter in 2025; if a sixth operation theatre will be provided to facilitate obstetrics and gynaecology demands there; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
