To ask the Minister for Health the number of patients and staff that will be transferred to the new Killarney community nursing unit (we have been informed that the opening occupancy level of the new Killarney CNU is the present resident cohort in St. Columbanus and Killarney Community Hospital and that all current staff from both St. Columbanus and Killarney Community Hospital will be transferred to the new CNU; in addition we have also been informed that recruitment is underway to extend occupancy beyond the present number to the full 130 bed capacity ); the dates for these transfers, the number of additional staff that will be employed in the new facility, the positions they will include; the date the new Killarney community nursing unit will be fully operational; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
