To ask the Minister for Health if she will commit to investment to deliver a neurology service for Tipperary University Hospital (The 2016 Model of Care for Neurology Services in Ireland, published a decade ago, stipulated that Model 3 hospitals including Tipperary University Hospital should have a dedicated neurology service. The Neurological Alliance of Ireland, the national umbrella for neurological charities is advocating to address this regional inequity in access to neurology for patients throughout Tipperary with Tipperary hospital now the only Model 3 hospital across the South East that does not have a dedicated neurology service); and if she will make a statement on the matter.
