To ask the Minister for Health the number of orthopaedic surgeons within Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) who are able to perform surgeries on children with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC); the qualifications, sub-specialities and fellowships of each; the experience or qualification of each which provides assurance to CHI that each have specialism in limb reconstruction; the total number of children with AMC each has performed surgery on in the past five years;; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
