To ask the Minister for Health for an update on the number of maternity posts in Sligo University Hospital (The Lactation Consultant based in the postnatal ward, is currently on leave, with, I understand, no cover in place, and the Community Lactation Consultant is due to retire shortly, and the Perinatal Mental Health Midwife, has recently retired– I would be grateful for an update on what plans are in place to fill the above referenced posts); and if she will make a statement on the matter.
