To ask the Minister for Health whether he accepts that the failure to identify and monitor the longest emergency department trolley waits limits the ability of the Health Service Executive and the Department of Health to detect extreme delays that may present patient safety risks; and the alternative safeguards are relied upon in the absence of maximum trolley wait-time data.
