To ask the Minister for Health the reason the southwest HSE region accounts for five of the 18 invasive meningococcal disease cases notified to date in 2026 and four of the 11 serogroup B cases, a disproportionate share relative to its population; if any cluster investigation, outbreak control team, or enhanced surveillance response has been initiated in the southwest region in response to this pattern; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
