To ask the Minister for Health the number of State-operated community nursing homes currently in operation here, by county; the total number of long-term residential beds provided, by county; the projected demand for such beds nationally over the next 10, 20 and 30 years in light of demographic trends; the strategy in place to plan for an ageing population; and the way in which it is intended to ensure that existing and future accommodation capacity will align with anticipated demand, in tabular form.
