To ask the Minister for Health her plans to address the number of closed or unavailable beds in State-operated community nursing homes; the additional bed capacity planned over the next 10, 20 and 30 years to meet the needs of an ageing population; the way in which her Department intends to ensure future provision matches projected demographic demand; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
