Summary
To ask the Minister for Health if she will consider a proposal to provide a 20-bed demountable unit at Wexford General Hospital while awaiting the completion of the new 97-bed facility, which will take three years to deliver at an estimated cost of €3 million (in light of the recent incident on 4 December when 14 ambulances were queuing for up to eight hours at the hospital’s Emergency Department.).
