To ask the Minister for Health the total number of persons on ophthalmology waiting lists as of April 2026, by county; the number awaiting cataract surgery, including those waiting longer than 12 months, by county; the breakdown of waiting lists by sub-specialty, including medical retina, diabetic eye disease, cataract, paediatric ophthalmology, glaucoma, cornea and refractive surgery, by county; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
