To ask the Minister for Health the contingency plan and guidance in place and issued by the HSE in response to the shortages of certain salbutamol products; the list of salbutamol products which are approved for reimbursement; whether each of these is in stock; the availability of substitute products for which a reimbursement price has not been agreed but which have been identified as an approved substitute during a shortage of reimbursable products; if during shortages, there is a mechanism for patients to access products outside of the list of reimbursable products where they have a clinical and economic need; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
