To ask the Minister for Health the reason there is no mechanism in place for funding access to cancer therapies which are available at the North West Cancer Centre in Altnagelvin but which are not yet reimbursed in this State ( For example, selpercatinib is available to public patients in the North, but not available to public patients from this State who are being treated in Altnagelvin through the cross-border planned healthcare scheme.); and if she will make a statement on the matter.
