Summary
To ask the Minister for Health based on the opportunistic case findings of chronic kidney disease under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, the percentage of those identified as having stage 4 or 5 chronic kidney disease have been included in the CDM Treatment Programme; the percentage of patients who have stages 1 to 3 chronic kidney disease have been included in the CDM Prevention Programme; if any of these patients have not been provided with follow on kidney care; if a cost provision has been made for any legal actions these patients may take for failure to provide appropriate care and delay progression to dialysis; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
