To ask the Minister for Health if she will provide an update on the plans for trauma and emergency care capacity at a hospital (Beaumont Hospital); if she will consider the urgent need for a dedicated emergency trauma unit and theatre to respond to the hospital’s high volume of emergency cases and to reduce current pressures on staff and patients; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
