HSE Capital and Estates Infrastructure Decarbonisation Roadmap

The Government’s Climate Action Plan sets targets for improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from energy use. Public sector organisations in Ireland are legally required to meet these targets. As a public body, the HSE must develop a roadmap showing how it will achieve them.

The Infrastructure Decarbonisation Roadmap has been prepared by HSE Capital and Estates to meet this requirement. It describes the work already carried out to reduce carbon emissions and sets out the HSE’s approach to further reducing emissions from its buildings and their day-to-day operation.
