Patient partnership in Dublin and South East
Help shape the future of healthcare in Ireland. If you use HSE services, care for someone who does, or support patients, your experience and insights are valuable.
Your voice matters, whether you have a few minutes or a lot of time to give. By joining a regional partnership structure, you can help shape better health services and healthcare close to home.
Patient and Service User Partnership in the HSE
Patient and Service User Partnership gives you the opportunity to work with HSE staff to help design, deliver and improve health services.
It is about sharing your experiences, asking questions and working together to make decisions.
By involving people who use services, we can make healthcare safer, fairer and easier for everyone to access and use.
Across the 6 HSE regions, there are new and flexible ways to get involved:
Regional Partnership Council
A small group of patient and service user partners working with senior leaders to set priorities and guide regional plans.
Regional Partnership Panel
A wider group of partners who help design projects, review information and improve services across different areas of care.
Regional Partnership Network
An open network where you can hear about news, events and ways to get involved that suit you.

What happens next
We will review your application fairly and openly. A panel of patient partners and senior regional staff use the same criteria to assess all applications.
If you apply to join the Regional Partnership Panel, we will let you know when new partnership opportunities are available.
If you apply for the Regional Partnership Council, we will let you know the outcome within 4 weeks of the closing date. If your application is successful, we will arrange your induction at a time that works for all members.
We encourage you to also apply to the Partnership Panel as places are limited on the Council. This helps us represent voices from across the region.
If you join the Regional Partnership Network, you will receive regular news and updates. You can unsubscribe by emailing Partnership.DublinSouthEast@HSE.ie
Thank you for your interest. We look forward to working with you to help improve health services together.
