The Civil Registration Office at Adelaide Street in Cork city is closed today, due to a localised technical issue.

Anyone in need of assistance can contact the Mallow office on 022-58682. There is no walk-in availability at the office today, and the public are asked not to attend the office.

Appointments will not go ahead today, anyone affected will be contacted by phone to reschedule.

The Civil Registration Service apologises for any inconvenience, and is working to have the office reopened as quickly as possible.
