The HSE’s Maternal and Newborn Clinical Management System Electronic Health Record (MN-CMS EHR) programme has received two national awards recognising the continued delivery of digital transformation across maternity and neonatal services.
The programme recently won IT Project of the Year (Public Sector) at the Tech Excellence Awards for MN-CMS EHR – Phase 2 and was also awarded Best Use of Information Technology at the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards.
These awards recognise the collaboration, commitment and innovation of teams across maternity and neonatal services, HSE Technology and Transformation, wider digital teams and healthcare partners involved in delivering the programme.
Supporting safer, more connected care
MN-CMS EHR is the national electronic health record programme for maternity and neonatal services.
It supports clinicians by providing secure access to digital information across the maternity journey, helping to improve communication, standardisation and continuity of care.
The programme is helping to support safer, more connected and more integrated care for women, babies and families.
Phase 2 marks another important milestone in the continued national rollout and development of MN-CMS EHR, supporting expanded digital functionality and further transformation across maternity and neonatal care services.
