HSE supporting “Living Well, Ageing Smart Expo” in Wexford

The HSE will be supporting and participating in the forthcoming “Living Well, Ageing Smart Expo” in Wexford.

Organised by Age Friendly Wexford, in association with the Co. Wexford Public Participation Network (PPN), the event takes place in White’s Hotel from 1-4pm on Thursday 10th September.

A free event with all welcome to attend, the afternoon will feature advice and information from Age Friendly, the PPN, Healthy Age Frriendly Homes, Wexford Library Service, Local Link, Family Carers, An Garda Siochána, Wexford Fire Service, the South East Energy Agency, the Alzheimer’s Society, Irish Cancer Society and others.

Vaccination staff from the HSE Dublin and South East will be on hand to give information at the event, as will those working in the HSE’s Health and Wellbeing self management “Living Well” programme. Health Promotion and Improvement Officers from the HSE, including those attached to the “Quit” smoking cessation service, will also be in attendance.
