Dr. Sinead Reynolds, Integrated Healthcare Manager, Waterford and Wexford, welcomed the news that more patients at University Hospital Waterford and Wexford General Hospital can now view their appointments in the HSE Health App from 11 September 2025.

“This will make it easier for our patients to keep track of their appointments, and I am encouraging people who access our services to download and log into the app. It will help us to ensure more of our patients here in Waterford and Wexford are provided with easier access to their health information in an accurate and trustworthy way.

“The evolving HSE Health app is a vital tool as we move towards a single digital health record for everyone. This latest development represents significant progress in our journey to a more digital and user-friendly healthcare service.”

Future app features will be guided by ongoing research and engagement with patients, staff, advocacy organisations and the public. The list of hospitals and services whose appointments have been added to the app are available on hse.ie.
