All eligible applicants will be notified of the sponsorship locations within the IHAs at a later date and will be invited to choose their sponsoring site preference. Please refer to Appendix 2 of the Additional Campaign Information for more information.
Where a vacancy exists in a DPHN area, at least 1 approved or 20% percent of approved vacancies (whichever is the highest) will be ring fenced for confined competition for Community Registered General Nurses (Staff Nurse General Community).
To meet the criteria for the confined competition, applicants must:
- Be currently employed and working as a Staff Nurse General (Community) in the Public Health Nursing Service within the Sponsoring DPHN area for 18 months immediately prior to application. (This can be concurrent with your two years post-registration experience)
- Be employed as a permanent employee on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Have a satisfactory service record and fulfil the relevant service requirement.
Where no eligible candidate is identified for the confined competition vacancy, the vacancy will revert to the panel.
