There is 1 permanent whole-time vacancy available in the Adult Safeguarding and Protection Team, Community Healthcare East (CHE). The initial assignment will be to Ballinteer Health Centre or Bray Civic Centre, however, the successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.

A panel may be created for Adult Safeguarding and Protection Team, Community Healthcare East from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full time or part time duration may be filled.

Post specific related information

Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in Safeguarding practice with adults at risk of abuse, including:

• Offering guidance and support to Professionally Qualified Social Workers.
• Assessing risk, making effective safeguarding plans and managing complex cases in a person centred and outcome focussed service, displaying an awareness of the extent and limitations of relevant legislation in this context.
Experience of working with older persons, adults with disabilities and or in adult mental health.
