Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Senior Social Worker. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to work 0.7FTE on a Community Mental Health multidisciplinary team to provide clinical social work input to service users and their families.
Minimum Requirements
• Possess the NQSW or equivalent and be registered with the Social Workers Registration Board of CORU as a Social Worker.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ depth and breadth of experience in the area of mental health with preferable experience in the specialist area of adult mental health.
• Demonstrate the ability to ensure high standards in the delivery of a high quality social work service for adults and their families who attend Cluain Mhuire in accordance with the philosophy of the Service.
• Demonstrate skill in organizing and planning
• Demonstrate excellent skills in supervision, leadership and effective therapeutic intervention.
• Demonstrate initiative and innovation in identifying areas for service improvement.
• Display effective interpersonal and communication skills including skills in multidisciplinary working and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, service users and families.
