Senior Physiotherapist role, permanent full-time, based in CRC Children’s Disability Network Team, Clondalkin, Dublin.

The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) provide intervention to children from the age of 0- 18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based upon a Family Centered Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team.

Clondalkin Children's Disability Network Team

Located in the new Primary Care Centre, which is a modern, purpose-built building designed for children, families, and staff. Here’s what’s better about the new building:

· It is fully accessible, with easy-to-use bathrooms, changing areas and changing benches, and hoists.

· There is more space and modern therapy rooms.

· It is a warm, welcoming place where we can support your child’s development.

· Located in close proximity with Primary care and other services, making it easier for families to receive more coordinated and wrap around supports.

· Parking/access: onsite parking is available outside the main entrance and also underground with lift available to main reception

Clondalkin offers a "village" atmosphere centered around the historic Round Tower, with immediate access to essential services and the Mill Shopping Centre.

Transport links

Luas Red Line: Luas to Red Cow station, which is a short walk from the village.

Dublin Bus: Several direct buses travel from the city centre, including the 13 (Mountjoy Square to Clondalkin Village) and 51d (Aston Quay to Clondalkin). The G2 is also available.

Irish Rail: Hourly train services run from Dublin Heuston or Connolly stations to Clondalkin/Fonthill Station.

We currently have vacancies for permanent contracts in our Clondalkin, Dublin CDNT (Part-time may be considered)

The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements:

Current CORU registration as a Physiotherapist.
Three years clinical experience with the majority being in paediatric disability
Proven experience in delivering a physiotherapy service as part of an MDT
Excellent communication, initiative, time management and teamwork skills
Flexibility and teamwork skills which are key to this role
Full drivers licence and access to car - Candidates that do not currently have this requirement are encouraged to apply, however there is a requirement to obtain this and will be explained at interview stage
Desirable requirements:

· Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

· Experience working with children with physical disabilities

· Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities

· Experience completing Assessment of Need

It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post. Department of Health Salary Scale apply, Senior Physiotherapist, grade code 3158 (€64,551 - €76,007).
