An exciting opportunity has arisen within our organisation for a Residential Leader (Social Care Manager 1/CNM1) to join our individualised services in Kildare Region to work as part of a larger management team. This post will enable the successful candidate to make a lasting impression on people’s lives while enhancing their own managerial skills. Requirements:

On the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, RNID.

OR

Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications); Must be registered or in the process of registering with CORU.

3 years’ managerial experience.

Participation in the regional On-call roster.

Excellent Communication Skills to include Leadership, Mentoring, Support and Supervision.

Have a robust knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and statutory requirements and their responsibilities as a Person In Charge.

Excellent, interpersonal, organisational, logistical and IT skills.

Full current manual Driving Licence.

Support, supervise and motivate the staff teams reporting to them.

Have a key focus in supporting the individuals be active citizens within their local community.

Expected to maintain up to date and accurate records to ensure a high standard of care and support is provided to each individual at all times.

Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.

The roster is Monday -Friday with rotational weekends and one evening which is also on a rotational basis.
