We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Procurement and Contracts Manager. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will lead the organisation’s contracts and procurement function. The office is based in Tullamore at Muiriosa headquarters or Triest House, Portarlington but the successful candidate will be expected to work across the three central administration locations from time to time.Level 8 degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification
Recognised professional procurement qualification
Qualification in Contracts Management desirable
Experience managing procurement processes from planning through to contract award.
Experience preparing tender documentation, specifications, evaluation criteria and procurement reports.
Experience operating within public procurement regulations and competitive tendering frameworks. Experience managing supplier relationships and contract performance
Experience maintaining contract registers and managing contract lifecycles.
Experience monitoring contract compliance, performance indicators and service delivery obligations.
Experience managing contract renewals, variations and associated governance requirements.
Experience preparing management reports, business cases and briefing papers for senior management.
Experience supporting audit processes, compliance reviews and governance frameworks.
Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation to support organisational accountability.
Experience working collaboratively with internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
Experience providing guidance and advice to managers regarding procurement and compliance requirements.
Experience supporting organisational projects through procurement and financial oversight.
Experience in a Section 38 publicly funded organisation strongly desirable.
Experience in a leadership role with line management responsibility.
