This post will provide additional capacity within the Press and Communications Unit to support the Unit’s work for Ireland’s EU Presidency. The postholder will support the planning, coordination and delivery of communications activity of the Unit’s work overall including priorities related to the EU Presidency , working closely with colleagues across the Department and with key stakeholders as required. The role will involve managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, producing high-quality written material to short deadlines, and supporting an effective and coordinated communications response during the Presidency period.

Application details

Applicants should submit a succinct CV (maximum 2 pages) highlighting relevant experience accompanied by a signed cover letter (500 words maximum). The cover letter should set out their reasons for considering themselves qualified and suitable for the role.
