Candidates must demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the assessment and management of adults with complex intellectual disability and/or physical disability, including individuals with complex health, mobility, postural, or sensory needs. Applicants must demonstrate experience in trauma-informed and person-centred clinical practice, recognising the impact of trauma, communication differences, and sensory processing needs on engagement with therapy and participation in daily life. Candidates should demonstrate experience working within a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex and high support needs, contributing to integrated assessment, care planning, and coordinated interventions. Applicants must demonstrate experience delivering physiotherapy services in community-based settings, including collaboration with families, carers, residential services, and community providers, and supporting capacity building for staff and carers. Candidates should demonstrate experience contributing to clinical governance, service development, quality improvement initiatives, and practice education within disability services.
