Post specific related information
Candidates must hold either:
• Bachelor of Science in Optometry.
Candidates must:
• Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in eye examination and vision care, which includes refraction, dispensing of glasses, fitting of contact lenses, detection, and diagnosis and management of eye disease.
• Have at least 5 years’ post registration experience
Note: Qualifications obtained outside of the Republic of Ireland will require validation by the appropriate professional body.
