Location
There is currently one whole-time Specific Purpose Contract vacancy available, which is expected to continue until July 2028.
The successful candidate will be based on one of the two main Dublin & South East Regional Technology & Transformation (DSE T&T) sites with potential opportunities for hybrid working in line with the HSE’s blended working policy. If based in Kilkenny the post holder will be required to travel to the Dublin Office regularly and as required

• Lacken Offices, Dublin Road, Kilkenny.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Grade VII DSE T&T Digital Infrastructure & Operations from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Please note, the lifespan of this panel is dependent on the new restructuring within the HSE

Post specific related information
Applicants must, at the latest date of application, clearly demonstrate, all of the criteria listed below as relevant to the role:
• A Level 8 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
or
• Significant relevant ICT Infrastructure and Operations management experience together with appropriate technical qualifications.
In addition, candidates must demonstrate:
• At least 3–5 years' experience managing ICT Infrastructure or ICT Operations services.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Experience delivering ICT infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing ICT suppliers and service providers.
• Experience supporting enterprise ICT environments.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL).
• Experience in budget and resource management.
