NCHD Registrar in Forensic Psychiatry post available for six-month period starting July 2025. There are posts available with in-reach teams in remand and sentenced prisons, within the Central Mental Hospital with acute admission, women’s cluster, medium-secure, and Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disability service teams. Eligibility Criteria: Must be currently registered in the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland in accordance with the Medical Practitioners Act 2007.
Must have a minimum of six months experience in Adult Psychiatry in Ireland. Eligible candidates must be EEA, Swiss or British Citizens or Non-European Economic Area citizens with permission to reside and work in the State. To qualify candidates must be eligible by the date of any job offer.
