Post specific related information
Sufficient depth and breadth of experience of working in a laboratory, healthcare or similarly regulated environment to enable them to safely and effectively undertake the duties of a Medical Laboratory Aide.
Experience of working as part of a team in a busy service environment where accuracy, attention to detail and adherence to defined procedures are essential.
The ability to safely and accurately undertake duties associated with the receipt, identification, preparation, handling and processing of patient specimens, following appropriate training and competency assessment.
The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment where there may be competing demands and time-sensitive specimens.
