Post specific related information
• Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience working within a horticultural setting, with a focus on plant propagation and cultivation and harvesting.
• Demonstrate a combination of academic expertise and practical experience in horticulture and in life skills that would enable therapeutic engagement with service users experiencing mental health issues to support them in developing their skills and competencies.
• Demonstrate a commitment to work within a social therapeutic healthcare environment supporting service users with mental health issues on a daily basis by using horticulture and other methods of engagement to build personal capacity and competency though a range of skill based and social activities in a mental health setting.
• Awareness of the Principles of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture and how these could be applied when working with service users as part of their Mental Health Recovery.
