Post specific related information

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA) with a minimum of four years postqualification
experience in a finance management or similar leadership role
• Proven experience leading, developing and supporting teams, creating an environment
of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and professional growth
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to organisational sustainability through sound
financial management, commercial awareness and a focus on delivering value and
impact
• Strong working knowledge of financial management, accounting and payroll systems,
with a commitment to leveraging technology and process improvement to enhance
effectiveness and efficiency
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to analyse complex
information and present financial data clearly and accurately
• Strong relationships-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all
levels of the organisation, influence positively, navigate challenging conversations and
support effective problem-solving
• Experience managing external audits and maintaining string financial controls,
governance and compliance standards
• Proven ability to prepare, interpret and communicate financial reports and insights to a
range of audiences, supporting informed decision-making
• Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, professionalism and discretion, with the
ability to manage sensitive financial, organisational and people-related information in a
confidential and trustworthy manner
• Previous experience of working in the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous but
not essential
