Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Service are now inviting applications for the post of Clinical Nurse Manager 3 for a community CAMHs team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users and families.
Role Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager 3 post will act as a Team Co-ordinator and Clinical Nurse for a community CAMHs team.
The post of Team Co-ordinator will be a pivotal role in service planning and development, co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the area(s) of responsibility such as triage and referrals, waitlist management, team communication, parent and referrer contact. The Team Co-ordinator responsibilities include overseeing the quality of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to legislative requirements, the development and implementation of policy and procedures, the monitoring of activity and the delivery of agreed levels of service for the designated area(s) and the promotion and audit of evidenced based standards of care. The role will consist of 0.5 WTE (2.5 days) team coordinator duties within the community CAMHs team.
The post of Clinical Nurse Manager 3 will also play a key role in providing clinical and professional leadership and promoting the values of the organisation. The successful candidate will be required to complete clinical duties such as mental health & ADHD assessments, care planning, collaboration with multidisciplinary team, individual therapeutic work, physical health monitoring in the course of their role. The role will consist of 0.5 WTE (2.5 days) clinical nursing duties within the community CAMHs team.
Minimum Requirements
Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
Are registered in the General division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) or entitled to be so registered.
And
Have at least 5 years post registration full time (or an aggregate of 5 years post registration full time) experience of which 2 years (or an aggregate of 2 years post registration full-time experience) must be as a Clinical Nurse Manager or in a related area of CAMHs
And
Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
And
Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development
And
Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
