The post of the Clinical Midwife Manager 3 has a pivotal role in service planning and development, coordinating and managing activity and resources within the Maternity Unit. To provide Midwifery leadership in proactively managing and coordinating clinical practice and the provision of human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational values and goals, ensuring a cost-effective midwifery/ nursing service focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based tailored patient care.
Responsibilities include: overseeing the quality of midwifery care, delivery of agreed key performance Indicators (KPIs), the development of policy and procedures, the monitoring of activity and the delivery of agreed levels of service for the area.
