Post specific related information
The primary purpose of this post is to be responsible for providing a high quality, patient-focussed cardiac diagnostics for GP-referred patients in South Tipperary Chronic Disease Community Specialist Service, under the clinical and governance framework of the Cardiology Service in Tipperary University Hospital and South Tipperary Chronic Disease Community Specialist Service. The Chief I Cardiac Physiologist, will also support cardiac investigations and interventions in Tipperary University Hospital and will be expected to work as part of the Tipperary University Hospital’s Integrated Care Cardiology Team. The post holder will also be expected to perform all cardiac investigations or other duties deemed appropriate to their position, coupled with supporting the Chief II Cardiac Physiologist in providing and developing a busy service.
