Panels may be formed by IHA area as a result of this campaign for Home Support
Resource Manager from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose
vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled for the South East region, which
includes, Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny and St Tipperary. Please note, the lifespan
of this panel is dependent on the new restructuring within the HSE.
Purpose of the Post
The Home Support Resource Manager will:
• Work closely with members of the local primary care teams, Integrated Care
Programme for Older Persons teams and Enhanced Community Care teams to
ensure that services are delivered in an integrated manner.
• Support the delivery, coordination and development of Home Support services.
• Manage the delivery of the Home Support Service to clients within a defined
geographical area.
• Manage a team of Home Support workers (HCA’s) in the specific geographical area
to which s/he has been assigned.
